## Name

“Resend” is the brand name and always spelled with a capital “R”.

It is a single word and should not be spelled as ”ReSend”, "resend", or any other variation.

## Symbol

In July 2025, we [unveiled a new visual identity](/blog/rebranding-resend), including a redesigned symbol that replaces the untreated "R" we used before.

The symbol expresses three ideas in a single stroke:

- **Friction-free**: a smooth, uninterrupted path that mirrors the experience of using Resend
- **Speed**: a dynamic form that suggests movement and progress
- **Intention**: a mark inspired by the act of sending

The wordmark combines the symbol with carefully designed letterforms, replacing the traditional "R".

## Typeface

Here's an overview of the typefaces used in the Resend brand:

- Display: ABC Favorit by Dinamo
- Product: Inter by Rasmus Andersson
- Editorial: Domaine Display by Klim Type Foundry

## Colors

Resend is dark mode first. We launched with a pure black & white palette, and expanded it with gradients and gray tones inspired by physical materials:

- **Eggshell** expands on the "White" color
- **Iron** expands on the "Black" color
- **Stone** and **Zinc** are new additions to the palette
